After more than 40 years in business, our second generation, family business still maintains a small company atmosphere. Our management can and does still drive truck! We are a supportive, team-minded company that is always looking for great people to join in our success. At Windy Hill, you're never more than two days from home - it's the next best thing to regional, yet with OTR pay! There's no waiting period - if you're hired, we have a tractor for you. Most drivers are in a truck (or in training) within two days of hire.
STUDENT DRIVERS
Our training program consists of four weeks of paid training. This training period ensures that you have the
knowledge and skills to become a successful over the road driver for our company. You can expect to be on the
road for all four weeks with a trainer to assist and instruct you. After the training is complete, you will be
evaluated by completing a behind the wheel road test to determine your readiness for solo driving.
EXPERIENCED DRIVERS
We are glad to welcome drivers who have at least one year of OTR experience. If you took a break from trucking
and want to start up again, we're glad to provide a refresher course for you! This is paid training and we'll
get you back in the driver's seat soon.
