currently seeking a full time candidate to join our Dispatch/Load Planner Team.
Dispatcher/Load Planner
Responsibilities include
but are not limited to.

Negotiating and booking loads, routing drivers and
load planning. Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with each
driver,

Communicate timely
and effectively with customers to ensure a high level of service, Advocate and
maintain a strong commitment to safety in the operating process,
·
Review dispatch
software and driver assignments to ensure all loads are dispatched, Responsible
for timely and efficient movement of loaded trucks carrying various products,
Schedule loads and assign qualified drivers, Enter load information into McLeod
system and prepare confirmations for each load, Review documentation to ensure
that proper loading numbers, billing instructions, etc. are correct., provide
documentation and communicate to drivers all pertinent information for
scheduled load(s), review dispatch sheet and driver assignments to ensure all
loads are dispatched., monitor and update drivers' progress throughout the
shift and update McLeod by actualizing the events.

Review driver's
Hours of Service Logs for available hours, and update hours in the computer as
required, must be available to work assigned shift on a consistent and ongoing
basis, perform all other duties as specified by management.
Hours of employment Monday-Friday
from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and every other Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00
p.m.
Qualifications

Pervious experience in the transportation industry
is preferred but not required.

This is an

This position involves performing basic preventative maintenance and annual inspections, diagnose, repair/replace trailer parts, remove/install wheel assemblies/tires, air brake and air system inspection and repair, repairing floors, cross members and side walls, inspecting lights as well as other various shop duties as assigned.
Hours of employment are Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and every other Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until noon. Pay is determined by qualifications and experience.
